Short Biography
I started getting interested in web editing in 1996, when I did my first personal site on my free compuserve space. It was a lot of fun from the very beginning, sufficiently captivating that I dropped my other computing interests (mainly database programming with Access) to get the most out of the HTML technology.
Web technology also meets some of my other interests such as photography - which I have been practicing for years - imaging in general, design and also with my early activities as the co-editor of a magazine. In summary, website edition has everything I enjoy. And the web is such a wonderful communication tool !
I am at the moment employed in a biotech research institute based in Switzerland which is part of a german pharma. My main activity is not in computing, but I have always been working a lot with my computers. It was nearly by "chance" (when our plant was closed) that I seriously started thinking of web designing as a job. At the same time we were fired, a friend of mine was pushing me to teach HTML and FrontPage to students in a one year Intranet/Internet diploma at the IFAGE. That's where it all started and the reason why the web is now part of my life.
